I had just become Master of the Chigwell Lodge and was invited to Essex Masters by Albert Simons. Whilst waiting outside for Albert, Brian breezed in and said "Hello John" I had never met him but he knew my name. We were later to become good friends and he seconded me into the Goodwill Lodge.
